Just checking in!

The company has been off to a great start and we've made some major (and wonderful) changes to the routines around here lately.  We're very happy with how the business is growing!

Training continues to be held every other Sunday at locations TBD.  Please keep in mind that we currently only offer the "Introduction to Working With Natural Families" course, and that it is mandatory for an applicant to attend before working with our agency.

Keep a look out for our article going out in Daily Candy Kids!

Also, Gila Brown, a parent coach who has special qualifications for working with parents of school-aged children who wish to use AP principles in their family structure, is launching a workshop series this fall.

Training Changes 08/02/2009
 
We are pleased to announce that our training program is being revamped!  Thus far, our mandatory training sessions for candidates have included very basic information and techniques.  The training was designed for nannies and housekeepers who didn't know anything about the Natural Family Lifestyle, and needed to be introduced to the main and most important concepts.  We are currently working on several courses designed to be more in-depth about the subjects of Attachment Parenting, Positive Discipline, Gentle Sleep Solutions, Toxin Awareness, and Green Cleaning.  Stay tuned to learn more about these classes as their release date gets closer!
 
 

We're holding another training session on Sunday, July 12th, at Douglas Park in Santa Monica.  It's On Wilshire and 25th St. 
This time, we'll be holding the nanny & housekeeper training at 10 AM and the Mommy Training at 11 AM.  E-mail training@greengranoladomestics.com to reserve your spot!

 
 

Due to having more clients than qualified nannies, we are holding an emergency training session on Monday, July 6th, at Beeman Park in Studio City.  The time is 6:30 PM.  If you can make it, please e-mail training@greengranoladomestics.com

Welcome to our web site!  Here on the blog, Courtney and I will periodically post updates about how the business is progressing.  Currently, we're working on putting together our first Granola Training Session!  It will be held at Shane's Inspiration in Griffith Park at 11 AM on Sunday morning.  You can expect to learn about positive discipline, effective and healthy communication, attachment parenting, recycling, composting, and more!  Parents are more than welcome to attend, to see what we're about, and ask any questions you may have!
